Tribute for mummy
A short song from shared memories with mummy.
What can wash away my sins, nothing but the blood of Jesus.
Oh precious is the blood, that makes me white as snow, no other name I know.
Nothing but the blood of Jesus.
My gratitude
Mummy thank you for the journey and the routes you took at every turn.
Thank you for not giving up at my birth, despite being the only baby to survive at that hospital.
Thank you the instilling the gift of the early riser with my excellent attendance records, just because you woke up early to do everything before us and get to Nitel early. Thank you for the morning devotions as they have become a core feature in my daily life. Thank you fighting for me with passion, whenever I needed a shoulder as a child. Your strengths molded me into who I have become.
How to love and pray.
Love indeed has many phases, I received all the love at a stage and with time, the love harvest was ready and I was glad to give back all the love you deserve and more. You always prayed and worshipped, kept committing us into the lord’s grace.
Bon voyage
Though the your trip to earth has completed, however, your legacy will endure the pages of time, your leadership in civil service, your entrepreneurial work, your proprietary work, your pastoral work, your counseling, your songs and books. I am grateful to enjoy the front seat in knowing and loving you. Thank you mum for everything. I will miss you dearly. Wow, what a beautiful character you were. We love you much mummy, but our lord even loves you more. Rest well, young shapiro as your classmate always cheered while you ran in school as a young lady, until we meet at the lord’s feet. Good night ma.
