My name is Ogah Ogbole, I would like to add my little Encounter with Mama, here as time and space will not allow. We came to Tanzania from Uganda,in 2012 if I am not mistaken, Mama was in charge of guidance and counseling at that time and she was also the Chaplain and head Pastor for Kampala International University in Dar es Salaam.
My wife and I planned to start a ministry in Tanzania but it all changed when we meet Mama to the glory of God. My first meeting with her was a turning point in my life, when she saw me the first time, Mama screamed and said to me “Pastor, iwo’ ni mo’ndu’ro’ de’ (Pastor it is you I am waiting for) I was surprised when she started praying and thanking God and declearing and praying for me in her office.
Cutting my story short Mama organized the ordination and the mentoring Started, to me Mama was going to stay for two more years with us before she leaves for Nigeria, only to my surprise after the ordination mama told me she was going back to Nigeria, I was enjoying her leadership role until she broke the news of her leaving.
I asked her why is she leaving so soon, Mama said she is going for a higher calling and said to me, ma’ be’ru’ eni kan kan, (do not fear anybody), all those at KIU, will probably understand better. There at KIU I became the Chaplain of the University after she left. I was employed as the Director for Quality Assurance and Monitoring and the Associate Dean for Applied Science and Technology at that time, i occupied all those positions for four years, before we left Tanzania
The Church God used Mama to established there at KIU Dar es Salaam is growing stronger and stronger as we speak to the glory of God today. Mama was a great mother to me in ministry and thought me to be resilient and bold, I was plaNning to visit her this year before bro Niyi broke the news of her going to be with the Lord to me.
I will miss Mama greatly, may the almighty bless and comfort the family she left behind, in Jesus Mighty Name Amen
